A 50-metre heated outdoor pool set in beautiful green surroundings in the heart of Cheltenham.
Built in 1935, and set in four acres of landscaped grounds, this is an outdoor swimming pool with unique attractions. Many original Art Deco features remain - yet there are also great facilities for modern-day needs. Olympic-sized - 50 metres - with 10 lanes, the main pool is heated to 26 degrees; the children's pools to 30 degrees. Both indoor and outdoor changing facilities are available, with access to baby/toddler change.
There's an in-house cafe, with lots of seating inside and out.
Yoga, triathlons and dog swims, the Hazelwoods Sunrise Swim, GE Aerospace Swim Challenge and the Cheltenham Tri Festival are some of the events that take place throughout the year.
It's open from spring through to autumn, but also for cold-water swimming from October to March.
